Bit of a more personal one today, because right now I'm sat here admiring a sunny spring morning and appreciating my life. I didn't think I'd get here, not just in a good job but to this stage of my life.. it could've ended so much sooner and I'd have never been able to appreciate this day. And it's not like anything outstanding has happened, it's been a slow burn of risks taken and efforts made to carve out the life I've wanted for myself; moving into a house, making games, enjoying my free time and allowing myself the grace of rest. I've grown so much and am so grateful for those that have helped me persevere despite everything. My life is mine, and I'm glad I worked hard for it, here's to another 6 months!
Working from home is strange, feels like I'm staying home from school cause of the snow, but I've still gotta do work?
Maybe that's just seasonal though, it gets dark early its kind of cold. I'm here typing up a blog with a hot chocolate and marshmallows and my cats, its cozy.
I feel lucky to have this right now, I hope there's no more storms to follow this calm ♥
The point of this website is mostly as an exercise in learning web development, but it feels kind of nice to have my own piece of the internet to design and post whatever I want.
I plan someday to have an NFC link to this page for conventions or events I go to, maybe even if I started to do makers markets too.🤔
